Analogue Photography

Analogue film is experiencing a remarkable resurgence, embraced by a new generation of photographers drawn to its authenticity, unpredictability, and tactile process. Young creatives are discovering the joy of slowing down, carefully composing each frame, and working with the distinctive qualities of different film stocks. At the same time, many who once grew up with film cameras are returning to the medium after years away, reconnecting with the craft and nostalgia of analogue photography. Together, these groups are fuelling a vibrant revival, ensuring that film remains a living and evolving art form.

Oliver embraces the art of analogue film, valuing its depth, texture, and the unique stories each frame can tell. His workshops guide participants through the entire process of film photography—from capturing images to developing, scanning, and post-editing—providing a complete, hands-on experience. In addition to group workshops, Oliver also offers portrait sessions and one-on-one tuition, both in Australia and on Hydra Island in Greece, creating opportunities for photographers of all levels to connect with the timeless craft of film.
