Echoing Passage
Exploring memory, movement, and the traces left by experience.
Echoing Passage
Echoing Passage is an ongoing photographic exploration of memory, movement and perception. Created through the repeated act of walking the same paths and revisiting familiar places, the series employs double exposures to merge moments separated by time into a single image. The resulting photographs blur the boundaries between past and present, reality and recollection, transforming ordinary scenes into layered visual narratives.
Rather than documenting Hydra as it appears, the work explores how places are experienced and remembered. Through overlapping fragments of landscape, architecture, people and light, Echoing Passage reflects on the cyclical nature of life, the persistence of memory and the traces we leave behind as we move through the world.
